Ressler Takes First-Ever Offensive POW Honor

Oskaloosa–Evan Ressler (Sr., Cascade, Iowa, Biology) was productive in both William Penn’s ground and air attack last weekend and his efforts were recognized he was named MSFA Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week Monday.

The first-time weekly winner was big in the Statesmen’s 51-20 victory over Missouri Baptist. The senior carried the ball 13 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and also had four receptions for 58 yards and a score. Both yardage tallies topped his squad. #20 WPU (3-1) rushed for 453 yards and finished with 548 overall on the day.

For the season, Ressler has tallied 274 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 64 carries (4.3 yards per rush). The senior also has five catches for 78 yards and two scores.

The award is the fourth of the year for WPU.
