Larson represents Central as all-conference volleyball honorable mention

PELLA — Freshman outside hitter Krissa Larson (Waverly, Waverly-Shell Rock HS) was cited as an honorable mention for the all-American Rivers Conference volleyball team Thursday night.
In her debut campaign with the Dutch, Larson led the team with 71 kills in eight conference matches. She averaged 2.84 over 25 conference sets, No. 10 in the league. She had a hitting percentage of .205, adding 26 digs and 12 blocks.
Throughout the duration of the season, Larson piled up 296 kills and a .210 hitting percentage. She also had 108 digs and 39 blocks.
Central finished its season 12-19 overall and 1-7 in league play.
