GRINNELL’S SIPFLE NAMED TO NSCAA WOMEN’S SOCCER ALL-REGION TEAM

Grinnell College Athletics

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Nicole Sipfle ’13, who has already earned numerous awards in her illustrious soccer career, has just added another.

Sipfle, a 5-6 midfielder from West Des Moines, Iowa (Valley), was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III All-North Region Team. Sipfle was a second-team selection.

A three-time All-Midwest Conference performer, including twice being named to the first team, Sipfle again led the Pioneers to a successful campaign.

That success included a repeat trip to the MWC Tournament, where the Pioneers lost to regular-season and eventual tourney champion Lake Forest College. Sipfle finished the season with a pair of goals.

Sipfle is an Academic All-Conference selection, as well.
